What you need to know
The below questions are they most commonly asked, but if you have a question that is not listed, please do not hesitate to reach out and contact us
What do I need to bring when my cat stays with you?
We provide everything your cat needs - comfy bedding, food, fresh water, toys and scratching posts. However, we always welcome familiar items from home, like their favourite blanket, toy or bed, to help them settle in.
Do I need to visit before booking?
We strongly encourage it. We love to meet owners beforehand - it helps you feel confident and gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may think of, ahead of your cat's stay. Please book your visit in advance if this is something you wish to do.
Wlat vaccinations does my cat need?
For the safety of all our guests, your cat must be up to date with all standard vaccinations and we will need to see their vaccination certificate either ahead of their visit or on arrival. Please click on our Vaccinations tab at the top of the page for more information.
Can you cater for special diets or medications?
Absolutely. Having worked in the veterinary profession for many years, I realise the importance of consistency when following a prescription diet or administering of medication. Please let us know ahead of your visit your cat's specific dietary needs or any medication they take so we can complete a daily medication/special diet form for you to check and sign on arrival. Although meals are provided for our guests, some prescription food will only be available from your veterinary surgery and supplied to you. In this case, please bring their prescription food or medication clearly labelled and we will make sure they follow their normal routine.
Will my cat get individual attention?
Yes! We only take a small number of guests at any time, for this reason. Each cat gets plenty of personal time - play, grooming, chats, cuddles and quiet time if they prefer. By only catering for a small number, we have the time to understand each of their personalities and what they like and don't like, allowing us to provide a complete individualised routine.
How secure are your suites?
Our suites are purpose-built with your cat's safety and comfort in mind. Each unit is fully secure, escape-proof and designed to a very high standard to give your cat freedom to play and relax safely.
What happens if my cat becomes unwell?
Your cat's wellbeing is our top priority. If your cat becomes unwell, we will make every effort to contact you immediately, and if needed, arrange prompt veterinary care with your vet or our trusted local vet. You will find a detailed explanation of our procedure within the declarations section of the Booking Form, which you are asked to read and sign. It's important that you fully understand and we mutually agree a 'plan of action', as should your cat become ill during our care, we can swiftly implement your wishes.
When can I drop off and collect my cat?
Admissions and collections are by appointment only, so each guest has calm, individual attention when arriving or leaving. Please pre-book your times with us.
Do you charge a cancellation fee?
We understand life happens - but if you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. Late cancellations may incur a fee, as we reserve our suites just for you.
